A trip around planet earth

On Earth there are many landforms. There are many different types of landforms including mountains, lakes, volcanoes, islands, plateaus and even peninsulas. mountains are tall rocky structures that usually have snow at the top and if there are many of them together it is called a mountain range.Mountains can be many sizes and can also be mistaken as volcanoes.Volcanoes are tall like mountains but can erupt causing ash and lava to fly everywhere this is what the inside of a volcano:

Image result for lake taupoLakes are Big or medium bodies of water that can contain fish, fresh water crayfish and seaweed.Lakes can be in various shapes and sizes.They can be shallow or deep and not all of them contain life also they can be hazardous.Islands are bodies of land surrounded by water.They can be big they can be small they can be round they can be oval they can be sand they can be dirt they can have trees the can have animals.Islands can contain people some can’t .
Image result for islandPlateaus are mountains with a flat tops . they are usually in deserts.and can be very hard to get to.A peninsula is a piece of land that just sticks off from the mainland.It can also be many shapes and sizes.
